Lough Derg on the River Shannon is one of Ireland's finest lakes and is renowned for its superb game and coarse fishing.

The self catering houses are on the lake shore in a secluded and private area with a backdrop of the Slieve Aughty Mountains.

These views are some of the most beautiful in Ireland.

Whitegate village (2.5 Km) and Mountshannon village offer pubs, shops and restaurants. Just 20 minutes drive lies the lively village of Killaloe.

Nearby amenities include golfing, fishing, boating, watersports, the famous East Clare walk and horse riding.

There are many delightful historical sites in this area. Holy Island, Portumna Castle and Bunratty Castle are prime examples.

The self catering holiday homes are the ideal base for touring counties Clare and Galway.

Popular day trips include a visit to the cities of Limerick or Galway or a visit to the world famous Burren, the Cliffs of Moher and the sandy beaches to the west.

The houses are stylishly furnished with three bedrooms (2 en-suite) and a spacious sitting room with wood-burning stove and large country style kitchen / dining room.

The houses are fully equipt with all modern conveniences including dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and dryer.
