With 32,000 acres of spectacular waterway it is renowned for its superb
game and coarse fishing.
The lake is also an ideal location for watersports is surrounded by beautiful country side and scenery.
Our two self catering houses and our lodge on the lake shore in a secluded and beautiful overlooking the Slieve Aughty Mountains.
Whitegate village (2.5 Km) and Mountshannon village (8 km) offer pubs, shops and restaurants.
The lively villgage of Killaloe is just over 20 minutes drive.
Nearby amenities include golfing, fishing, boating, watersports, the famous East Clare walk and horse riding.
There are many delightful historical sites in this area. Holy Island, Portumna Castle and Bunratty Castle are
prime examples.
Our self catering holiday homes are ideally located for touring counties Clare, Limerick and Galway.
Popular day trips include
a visit to the cities of Limerick, Galway, the world famous Burren, the Cliffs of Moher and the sandy beaches to the west.
The houses are stylishly furnished with three bedrooms (2 en-suite) and a spacious sitting room with
wood-burning stove and large country style kitchen / dining room.
The houses are fully equipt with all modern conveniences including dishwasher, microwave,
washing machine and dryer.
Bed linen and are towels provided.
The Lodge sleeps 6 and has beautiful views of Lough Derg. It has three bedrooms, a spacious living room, a large country style kitchen with separate dining room.
Angling boats and outboards are available to hire and we have a pier at the end of the garden.
